This trailer made as a proposal for an Unreal 2.5 mod. All art assets were created by our team of 5 in 10 weeks using 3D Studio Max, Unreal Ed and Photoshop. The premise is: The marines have a certain amount of time to break into a base and recover a locater and an ice drill in order to dig up a lost artifcat (hitting checkpoints along the way will allow the marines to spawn closer). The robots have to prevent them from accomplishing their objective. The purpose of this trailer is to convey the gameplay and narrative of the experience.
I played the role of team leader on this project and was in charge of setting up the production pipeline and insuring that all deadlines were met on-time. My other duties included the modeling/ texturing/ animation of the Robot character, importing props, characters and animations into the Unreal Editor, modeling some of the props, creating concepts and level plans, directing the gameplay action and doing the editing and post effects of the final trailer.
